01The gap

Eight good questions and nowhere to answer them.

A historian and journalist in Romania writes about history for children. Why did the Dacians carry a flag that howled? Why were some Romanian dinosaurs so small? Why did the sea disappear from a town? Each story ends with a place families can explore for themselves.

The stories were there. What was missing was a place where parents could easily find them and children would want to read them.

02The cost of friction

A story nobody can find doesn't get read.

Without a home, the stories couldn't travel. Parents had no link to share, and curious kids had no easy way to ask the next question.

03The fix

A site built around the questions, not around the author.

DE CE? ("Why?") puts the question first. One question per page, large type and an answer in plain Romanian, ending with a real place to visit. The home page brings together the eight stories and lets children send their own questions. There's a thank-you page for those who do. No app, no account, nothing between a curious kid and a good story.
