01The gap
Thirteen editions of a campaign, and no home in two languages.
OZ Cammino is a non-profit in Bratislava that works with children and young people. Its best-known project, Darujme úsmev ("Give a smile"), runs every December and is now in its thirteenth edition: a family writes down what it needs, a donor picks one item from the list.
Donors and volunteers come from Slovakia and from abroad. There was no single place to send them all: what Cammino does, how to give monthly or once, how to get involved, who the people behind it are. In Slovak and in English, and readable on a phone first.
02The cost of friction
Every manual handoff is time taken away from helping people.
Without one place to point to, a small team answers the same question, "how can I help?", one person at a time, in two languages. That's time the people they help never see.
03The fix
A site in two languages, cards for the team, and intake that lands with the people who answer.
One clear starting point, in Slovak and English, for Cammino's projects, Christmas campaign, stories, volunteering and contact. We made the two donation routes distinct: the home-page giving card supports year-round youth programmes, while separate Darujme úsmev links support the Christmas wishlists. The home page also counts down to the wishlist launch.
Digital cards for the co-founders: call, WhatsApp, email, save the contact, and a "how you can help" button that opens the intake for gifts, time or partnerships.

04The difference
One link for everyone who asks "how can I help?"
One link gives people a clear place to start, in their language, whether they want to donate, volunteer or get in touch.
The site is built and awaiting launch. We'll measure what changes during its first campaign with the new site.
05I want one
Let's make the paperwork work harder than the people.
Not sure what's stuck?
Find the friction.
Where are customers getting stuck? What makes the team work harder than it should? We look at the journey and the process behind it, then work out what's actually worth fixing.
